About Meta-Courses and Cohorts

Meta-Courses:

  • If you are teaching two or more sections of the same course; a metacourse may be for you.

  • A metacourse is a parent course that draws its enrollments from child courses that are linked to it.

What are the benefits of a Meta-Course?

  • Meta-Course allows professors to create and update a single Moodle site for identical sections rather than maintaining multiple Moodle sites.
